Space Coast Women in Defense Supports the Great Brevard Toy Drop with Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Charity

The Space Coast Chapter of Women in Defense is supporting The Great Brevard Toy Drop with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Charity in 2021. Community members are asked to donate new, unwrapped toys/gifts for needy children, infants, and teens as identified by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

Donations can be brought to the following 8-koi office locations by Tuesday, November 30th during regular business hours:

Curbside drop-off is available. Send an email to recruiting@8-koi.com or call 321.802.6768 and ask for Carlos or Sheena to make arrangements.

All donations will be distributed to the youth by BCSO Deputies. A Toy Drop ‘Cop Parade’ will be held in Cocoa Village on Wednesday, December 1st at 12:15pm. The public is invited to attend.

8-koi Founder Inga Young is the newly inducted President of Space Coast Women in Defense and invites Brevard County to join her and SCWID’s volunteer board in celebrating the season of giving by donating to The Great Brevard Toy Drop.

“Women In Defense provides a dynamic, forward-thinking community for developing leadership skills, cultivating relationships, as well as mentoring, and education through a variety of national and regional events,” says Inga. “This holiday toy drive is just one way we’re aiming to contribute to our Brevard community and show support for our local public safety agencies.”

The Space Coast chapter of Women in Defense was founded January 21, 2013. See more at https://widsc.org/
